Smoothie Recipes For Kids
Many parents simply do not know what to do when it comes to improving their children's overall health, particularly in the current economic climate which has food prices soaring to new heights. But there are some basic convenient and affordable, and certainly healthy alternatives, and my personal favorite is to use smoothie recipes for kids.
There's so many different types of smoothies that you can make, but one thing that is important to remember is the fact that you can include healthy and nutritious vegetables and greens along with fresh fruit into your child's diet on a regular basis. And it can be much more affordable than most other types of diets as many of these ingredients can be purchased locally, and certainly many of them can be frozen and used at a later date which helps with the bottom line. So if you're curious about what type of smoothie recipes that kids might like, here's a sample recipes to get you started!
- 1 cup of fresh mango chunks
- 1 cup of fresh pineapple chunks
- 1 whole banana in frozen chunks
- a handful of spinach
- 1 cup of vanilla greek yogurt
- 1 tsp of organic stevia for a 0 calorie and all natural sweetener
- 1 cup of filtered water
- first you need to make sure you put in your filtered water into the blender
- then you'll want to put in your organic or equivalent Greek yogurt
- then placing your fresh mango and pineapple chunks and spinach
- and finally add your frozen banana trunks on top along with the sweetener
- blend until desired consistency
- enjoy!
